Who We Are
Based out of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, this organization is dedicated to furthering and supporting current and future public awareness efforts for naturopathic medicine in the United States and Canada. Our members are students of accredited four-year, graduate-level, in-residence naturopathic medical programs. In coordination with the AANP and the accredited naturopathic medical schools, NPAC seeks to further provide resources on the national level to support both federal and states’ needs to educate the public and legislators about the importance of naturopathic medicine. We strive to expand public awareness of naturopathic medicine as a viable, affordable option for quality healthcare. As a strong naturopathic student organization, NPAC is an extremely effective vehicle for public health education and community outreach.
NPAC has a unique capability of centralizing a hub of resources for naturopathic awareness efforts due to the inherent nature of the organization. NPAC resides in the halls of naturopathic medical schools, which fosters a centralized area to mobilize hundreds of advocates for the naturopathic profession very quickly, especially for time sensitive and manpower initiatives.
We are a student run, student led organization that is actively fundraising and have become an extremely valuable resource to our profession. We provide student leadership training, student testifiers at congressional hearings, educational meetings with legislators, monetary support and whatever else is needed to support local and national educational efforts
for naturopathic medicine.
We are a hardworking, driven and passionate group of individuals who believe in the core principles of naturopathic medicine. We believe that by coming together and unifying our efforts we will be able to successfully license all states.
As with any organization, we always need bodies to help out in the "cause" and we are always accepting donations both monetary or with monetary value. If you have any contribution to make in any way, would like to join and help in the licensing of naturopathic medicine, need to request the assistance of NPAC in your state's licensing efforts or have any questions please email info@globalnpac.org for more information.
